Jeanine Underwood is a daughter, sister, aunt, mother, and the wife of a police officer. Jeanine is a committed philanthropist focusing on helping people and helping to bring awareness to alcoholism/addiction and PTSD. Jeanine believes there is much work to be done to help our servicemen and women and our police officers, with mental health, as they are exposed to the worst of the worst in society and experience serious trauma.
In earlier episode #04: Justice For All, with Brion Curran, we heard first hand the trauma police officers endure and how quickly it can lead to PTSD. In this episode, Jeanine sits down with Mandi Benecke and Naomi Marquez to share her story from a different perspective. Jeanine tells her story as the wife of a police officer, what she saw him endure, and the effects it had on all aspects of his life.
